  1. You know this would be a good thing to have in food storage for emergencies as well as everyday use. Good idea!! I can't tell you how much of the named brand I use. This is much much better! Love this. thanks for posting.

  2. This is silly, but I always read your Meemo's Kitchen blog. I can't figure out how to comment on there! So I just found this blog and saw I can comment on here.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you, I tried one of your recipes last night for dinner and it was FANTASTIC!!!! It was The Cheesecake Factory's "Louisiana Chicken Pasta". It tasted so much like what I get at the restaurant. Very detailed directions and easy to understand. Thank you so much!!

  3. Anna,

Please forgive me I have been out of town with work on and off and haven't been checking my blogs.

It is not silly. The reason you haven't been able to figure out how to leave a comment is that while I have been gone I have turned off the comments. It keeps me from coming back home with several hundred comments to moderate. Especially when the time home is so short. If I have time I usually note the fact that comments are turned off on the comment page. I must have been in a big hurry and didn't put that message up. I am so sorry.

I am so pleased to hear that the Louisiana Chicken Pasta recipe turned out well for you you. It's always a pleasure to know what is in your head gets put down on paper or on a website in an understandable manner. Thank you.

Thank you so very much for visiting my blog and thank you for taking the time to post a comment.

I will be back home for a few weeks so I will turn the comments back on at Meemo's Kitchen.

Again, I apologize for not answering you sooner. I hope you can forgive my oversight.

  4. when you make mixes like this at home and others, like taco seasoning, you can control how much salt you put in it and cut down on the sodium.

  5. Healthy Educator,

    Nice seeing you over here!
I love to make my seasoning mixes for the purpose of cutting down on the salt. It is also a lot less expensive than buying these mixes premade.

    Thanks for stopping by.
